This data protection declaration regulates the protection and processing of personal data within Eugen Seitz AG (Seitz) in accordance with the EU Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Personal Information
Personal data is all information that relates to an identified or identifiable person. This includes information such as name, address, telephone number and e-mail. This applies to both natural persons and legal entities via which data are processed.

Data protection
Seitz makes every effort to protect personal data against unauthorised or unlawful use and to treat such data confidentially. In the event of data misuse or loss, all parties involved will be informed in detail within the legal deadline and informed about the measures taken.

Processing of personal data
Personal data obtained from Seitz will only be used and processed for specified/published and legitimate purposes. The data will not be passed on to third parties unless this is required by law or the person concerned has expressly permitted this in advance.

Acquiescence
With the confirmation of this data protection declaration, the data subject gives his/her consent to the processing of personal data concerning him/her for one or more specific purpose(s).

Right to information
Information on personal data can be obtained at any time from our data protection officer.  The data subject has the right to request confirmation as to whether and how the personal data concerned are processed.

Right to correction
The data subject has the right to request the immediate correction or completion of false or incomplete personal data.

Deletion of data
The data subject is entitled to have his/her personal data deleted at any time if it is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected.

Consent to the processing of the data can also be revoked at any time or the restriction of the processing of the data (if possible) can be demanded.

Duration of data storage
Personal data will only be kept at Seitz for as long as necessary or as required by law. If the purpose or the storage obligation of the data ends, they are deleted.

For security reasons and to protect the transmission of confidential content, such as purchase orders or inquiries you submit to us as the website operator, this website uses either a SSL or a TLS encryption programme. You can recognise an encrypted connection by checking whether the address line of the browser switches from “http://” to “https://” and also by the appearance of the lock icon in the browser line.

The information generated by cookies on your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the United States, where it is stored.

The storage of Google Analytics cookies and the utilization of this analysis tool are based on Art. 6 Sect. 1 lit. f GDPR. On this website, we have activated the IP anonymization function. Job processing

We have concluded an order processing agreement with Google and fully implement the strict requirements of the German data protection authorities for the use of Google Analytics.

Demographic parameters provided by Google Analytics

This website uses the function “demographic parameters” provided by Google Analytics. It makes it possible to generate reports providing information on the age, gender and interests of website visitors. The sources of this information are interest-related advertising by Google as well as visitor data obtained from third party providers. This data cannot be allocated to a specific individual. You have the option to deactivate this function at any time by making pertinent settings changes for advertising in your Google account or you can generally prohibit the recording of your data by Google Analytics as explained in section “Objection to the recording of data.” 

Google AdWords
This website uses the online advertising program Google AdWords. If our website was opened via a Google ad, Google Ad Words stores a cookie on your computer for 30 days. The cookie is used to evaluate the total number of users of the Google ad. No personal information is collected or processed.
